Iowa: Insurance Consumer Advocate Hosts Presentation by Authors of Study on Consumer Perspectives on Use of Credit-based Insurance Scoring
NAMIC, along with member companies and representatives of its state trade association advocacy partners, the Iowa Insurance Institute and the Mutual Insurance Association of Iowa, attended a presentation Dec. 15 by academic researchers from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa, on their paper “Use of Credit Scores by the Insurance Industry: Iowa Consumers’ Perspective.” The presentation was conducted by video conference between two cities, Davenport and Des Moines.
