Partisanship

Most of you know that the Chamness household is split politically. I’m to the right of the middle and Briget is to the left. And we were at it long before the “Carville-Matalin” partnership. I know I cannot bring home a half-formed argument about public policy or a piece of legislation and expect that I will have an echo chamber. I have my opinions, and Briget has hers … and after nearly a quarter century, it appears that neither one of us is going to change. But, we continue to learn about each other and the issues that are of importance, and our respect toward one another continues to grow. And you know what? I wouldn’t have it any other way.
