Transparency Working Group to Discuss Premium Comparison, Policy Accessibility

The Transparency and Readability of Consumer Information (C) Working Group has held a dozen conference calls since it first met at the NAIC spring meeting in Austin. The teleconferences have consisted entirely of discussions related to the development of “best practices” for the design and implementation of web-based consumer premium comparison guides for personal auto and homeowners’ insurance. That project directly pertains to one of the group’s three charges, and is probably the least significant for NAMIC members.
