Louisiana: Legislature Passes Chinese Drywall Bill

The Louisiana Legislature last night passed SB 595, a bill that will prohibit an insurer from cancelling, non-renewing, or increasing rates on a policy due to the presence of drywall manufactured in the People’s Republic of China. The bill was revised last week in the House.
