Nevada: NAMIC to Testify Against Reduced Coverage Limits, Low-Cost Auto Insurance Program
NAMIC will be testifying in opposition to AB 299, the Low-Cost Automobile Insurance Pilot Plan, when the bill is debated in the Senate. The proposed legislation will require the use of taxpayer resources to fund a program that is unlikely to have any meaningful impact on the number of uninsured motorists on Nevada and will create a financial burden for insurers and policyholders.
