Senate Banking Committee Hears Viewpoints on Flood Insurance Reform
The Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs held a hearing on Thursday, June 23, entitled “Reauthorization of the National Flood Insurance Program, Part II”. Banking Committee Chairman Tim Johnson (D-SD) chose not to include any insurance trade associations on the witness panel, but NAMIC submitted written testimony with its proposals for NFIP reform.
