Consumer Choice in Auto Parts & Repairs [F/S]

Our Position

NAMIC supports state laws that allow insurance companies to inform their customers about the company’s direct repair programs (DRPs) with certified auto repair shops. NAMIC opposes efforts by state auto repair shop trade associations to seek legislation that would restrict what an insurance company can tell its customers following an automobile accident. NAMIC also supports both state and federal legislation that would allow competition in the auto parts market.
