Georgia: ‘Emergency Assessment’ for Workers’ Comp Captive Failure Passes House Committee
Georgia H 1364 would make the Georgia Insurers Insolvency Pool liable to claimants and insureds in “emergency circumstances,” perhaps resulting in emergency assessments to participating insurers. The bill was given a favorable report Thursday by the House Industrial Relations Committee.
