Iowa Regulators Ask Trade Associations to Facilitate Collection of Information on Companies’ Best Practices on Implementation of Credit-Based Insurance Scoring Extraordinary Life Circumstances Require

As mentioned in last Tuesday’s member alert on the meeting conducted by the Iowa Insurance Division on the recently passed credit-based insurance scoring extraordinary life circumstances bill, NAMIC opposes any regulation that is burdensome, especially considering the fact that the law was just enacted and has not been given the chance to work.
