Colorado: Bill Restricting Underwriting Freedoms of Homeowner’s Insurance Carriers Passes Out of Committee

The Colorado Senate Local Government and Energy Committee on Feb. 17 passed, on a party-line vote of 3-2, SB 15, a bill that would restrict homeowner’s insurance carriers’ underwriting freedoms and their ability to provide consumers with rates that accurately reflect the consumer’s risk of loss exposure.
