Wisconsin: Legislature Hits the Ground Running in Effort to Undo Damage Caused by 2009 Auto Insurance Legislation

NAMIC’s state trade association advocacy partner, the Wisconsin Insurance Alliance, reports that the session has barely begun and already “The Consumer Choice in Automobile Insurance Act,” SB 7 and AB 4, has been introduced and heard in committee. This legislation would reverse the damage done to the state’s auto insurance consumers by the ill-advised legislation that was snuck into the budget bill in 2009.
