Wisconsin: Tort Reform Bill Goes to the Governor
NAMIC’s state trade association advocacy partner, the Wisconsin Insurance Alliance, reports that last night the Assembly took up and passed Special Session Senate Bill 1, the civil justice bill. During the debate, the legislators rejected 20 amendments. The bill now goes to the desk of Gov. Scott Walker. He is expected to sign it shortly.
