Florida: Big Week for Property Insurance Bills with ‘Photo Finish’ Expected
Several major Florida property insurance bills go to the full House and Senate for votes this week, according to reports from the Florida Insurance Council (FIC). “As usual, it will be a photo finish,” said Liz Reynolds, NAMIC Southeast state affairs manager. “A lot of lobbying, debating, and voting still must take place before the scheduled May 6 midnight adjournment.” FIC is NAMIC’s advocacy partner in the Sunshine State.
