McCarran Watch

As the House of Representatives and Senate continue to hammer out the differences on competing pieces of legislation to overhaul the healthcare system in the United States, the threat to the McCarran-Ferguson Act still remains. As we have reported, the House version contains a provision that would endanger the McCarran-Ferguson limited antitrust exemption for health and medical malpractice insurers.
