Iowa: Legislature Passes Extraordinary Life Circumstances Amendment to Credit-based Insurance Scoring Law

NAMIC’s state trade association advocacy partner, the Iowa Insurance Institute, reports that the Iowa House passed SF 2075, which adds what is often called the “extraordinary life circumstances” provision to the state statute that regulates the use of credit-based insurance scoring. The House did not amend the bill, which means it should soon be on its way to the governor’s desk.
