SAN DIEGO (September 21, 2010) – The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies inducted seven new members into its “Century Club” during the 115th Annual Convention. Each year, NAMIC recognizes companies that reach the mark of serving policyholders for 100 years during one of the convention general sessions.
With these new Century Club members, NAMIC now has more than 660 member companies that have met or exceeded the 100-year milestone. NAMIC’s oldest member is the Philadelphia Contributionship, which was founded in 1753, and the association’s newest member is Kansas City, Mo.-based Lockton Re, which opened its doors in 2009.
