Hawaii: NAMIC Submits Testimony Opposing Bill Restricting Use of Claims History in Homeowner’s Insurance Rating, Underwriting
NAMIC submitted written testimony Feb. 21 in opposition to SB 2009, Homeowners Insurance Claims History. The bill was scheduled for a public hearing Feb. 22 in the Senate Committee on Commerce and Consumer Protection. The bill was deferred then passed out of committee with amendments on Feb. 24. The Department of Insurance testified in support of the bill.
