California: Proposed UM/UIM Legislation Assigned to Interim Study Committee

The Assembly Insurance Committee heard testimony May 4 on AB 1063, a controversial UM/UIM bill that would fundamentally alter how UM/UIM insurance coverage claims are adjusted and settled. The Assembly Insurance Committee voted 6-3 to refer the bill to an interim study committee.
