Colorado: NAMIC Joins Industry Members at Governor’s Signing of Insurance Guaranty Fund Modernization Bill
HB 1041 as amended was signed into law March 11 by Gov. John Hickenlooper. The bill, designed to better align the Colorado Guaranty Fund Act with the national trend on guaranty law, moved through the Legislature in impressive fashion, passing out of the Senate on a 35-0 vote and out of the Assembly on a 63-0 vote.
