Oppose South Dakota Senate Bill 169 That Cuts the Legs Out From Insurer Subrogation Recoveries – Vote Could be as Early as Today

The South Dakota Senate Commerce Committee last week voted in favor of Senate Bill 169 that would add the following sentence to South Dakota law: “No insurer under this chapter is entitled to participate in any recovery from any tortfeasor on account of bodily injury or death or damage to property unless and until its insured has first been made whole.”
