Virginia: NAMIC Raises Objections as State Considers Wind Pool, CAT Fund
The Virginia Bureau of Insurance hosted a meeting May 26 in Richmond to examine the concept of a wind pool in the state. The informal hearing comes at the foot of failed 2010 legislation, HB 89, that would have established a type of reinsurance CAT fund in Virginia.
