Colorado: NAMIC Submits Testimony Opposing Bill Restricting Underwriting Freedom for Homeowners’ Insurance
NAMIC has submitted written testimony to the Colorado Senate Local Government and Energy Committee opposing SB 15, legislation that would restrict homeowner’s insurance carriers’ underwriting freedoms and their ability to provide consumers with rates that accurately reflect the consumer’s risk of loss exposure. The committee will be holding a public hearing Feb. 17 on the bill.
