‘Fiscal Cliff’ Talks Heat Up

Senior White House officials remained in contact with Speaker of the House John Boehner’s staff throughout the weekend in a sign that serious negotiations over the so-called “fiscal cliff) had finally begun after weeks of stalemate and partisan posturing.
