NAMIC Appoints State Affairs Manager for Southwest

NAMIC has named Paul T. Martin as its state affairs manager for the Southwest United States. He will represent NAMIC members in Arizona, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah on legislative matters.

State assignments have been reconfigured to accommodate this staff expansion.

Paul, who will be based in Austin, Texas, comes to NAMIC after a 12-year tenure at State Farm Automobile Insurance Company, serving as lobbyist/claim attorney responsible for providing counsel to company leadership on a variety of issues. Prior to this, he spent several years at private law firms in Tennessee.

Paul received a Bachelor of Science degree in public policy studies from Vanderbilt and his law degree from the University of Miami.
