Ohio: Supreme Court Rules on Admissibility of Medical Write-Off

The Supreme Court of Ohio weighed in May 4 on the issue of admissibility of write-offs taken by medical providers for medical treatment in a personal injury case. Jacque v Manton arose from an auto accident in which Richard Jacque was injured. Jacque filed suit against Patricia Manton, the other driver, for his injuries. Liability was admitted and the case went to jury trial on the issues of causation and damages.
