Montana: Senate Highways, Transportation Committee Holds Hearing on Credit-Based Insurance Scoring Ban Bill

The Senate Highways and Transportation Committee held a public hearing Jan. 13 on SB 137, a proposed ban on the use of credit-based insurance scoring in auto insurance. The committee has yet to take executive action and vote on the bill, but could do so any day. NAMIC sent an Action Alert requesting that its members in Montana contact committee members asking that they vote “No” on the legislation.
