Mississippi: ‘Bill of Rights’ Passed by House
Despite lobbying efforts by NAMIC and other insurance industry representatives, H 563 was amended and passed 107-7 last week by the Mississippi House “in the misguided belief that the bill will somehow help with Hurricane Katrina-related concerns,” reported Liz Reynolds, NAMIC Southeast state affairs manager.
