Colorado: Bad Faith bill that would have required CO licensed specialists to be involved in the entire medical benefits claims process died on second reading in the House

On April 20, HB 1234, Concerning the Fair Settlement of Claims for Benefits Under an Insurance Policy, died on second reading in the House. The bill had previously passed out of the House Judiciary on a 6-5 party-line vote, and then was reassigned back to the committee for an amendment, which was approved on a 7-4 vote.
