There is still time to register for NAMIC’s State of the States webinar on May 23 at 2 p.m. EDT that will bring together NCOIL President and North Dakota state Rep. George Keiser and Louisiana Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon in a discussion about legislation being introduced across the country to enact or amend state statutes to implement the provisions of the Nonadmitted and Reinsurance Reform Act of 2010. The Act was enacted last year as part of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
