Minnesota: Effective Date of City of Rochester Fire Surcharge
NAMIC’s state trade advocacy partners, the Insurance Federation of Minnesota and the Minnesota Association of Farm Mutual Insurance Companies, have been working with NAMIC to obtain guidance on the multitude of changes that are the result of the city of Rochester becoming a city of the first class. This change, which was caused by the 2010 Census, was first reported in a NAMIC alert sent last week.
