House Leader Promises Vote on Farm Bill
House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., has added the farm bill to the list of measures that Congress needs to tackle before the end of the 112th Congress. The massive program expired at the end of September when House leadership refused to bring the bill to the floor. Cantor has promised to hold a vote on the bill in December, but the legislation still faces many hurdles.
