Massachusetts: AG Certifies Ballot Initiative to Prohibit Credit Despite NAMIC Opposition

Despite the opposition of NAMIC and other property/casualty trade associations, the Massachusetts Office of Attorney General has certified a proposed ballot question to enact a statutory ban on the use of credit, education, and occupation as factors in the rating or underwriting of insurance.
